You will design and implement software for robotics and industrial automation applications.
You will support system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
You will partner with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams to deliver solutions that meet technical, timing, and customer requirements.
Software Robotics Design Engineer with Fameccanica in Boston Hub (Middleton, MA)
Fameccanica North America is building its new Robotics & Automation Engineering Hub just north of Boston, and this role will help shape it from the ground up.
As a Software / Robotics Design Engineer, you will design and implement software for advanced automation systems while working closely with the hardware.
A collaborative, adaptable approach and excitement for building something new.
Fameccanica is a global machine manufacturer known for designing and building high-speed automated equipment and production systems for consumer goods, hygiene products, and packaging applications.

Strong experience in robotics, automation, and industrial software development.
Experience with robot programming, PLC platforms such as Rockwell or Siemens, motion control, and HMI/SCADA systems.

Experience with C#, Python, C++, simulation tools, or digital twin technologies is a plus.

The new Boston-area hub supports that vision in the U.S. through applied robotics and automation development.
