Responsibilities

  • You will design and implement software for robotics and industrial automation applications.
  • You will support system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • You will partner with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams to deliver solutions that meet technical, timing, and customer requirements.
  • Software Robotics Design Engineer with Fameccanica in Boston Hub (Middleton, MA)
  • Fameccanica North America is building its new Robotics & Automation Engineering Hub just north of Boston, and this role will help shape it from the ground up.
  • As a Software / Robotics Design Engineer, you will design and implement software for advanced automation systems while working closely with the hardware.
  • A collaborative, adaptable approach and excitement for building something new.
  • Fameccanica is a global machine manufacturer known for designing and building high-speed automated equipment and production systems for consumer goods, hygiene products, and packaging applications.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in robotics, automation, and industrial software development.
  • Experience with robot programming, PLC platforms such as Rockwell or Siemens, motion control, and HMI/SCADA systems.

Nice to have

  • Experience with C#, Python, C++, simulation tools, or digital twin technologies is a plus.
