About the role
- They are a 24- bed pediatric progressive care unit that typically has a patient to nurse ratio of 3:1.
- All of the cardiac and nephrology children are to be admitted to this floor,along with any child that is considered progressive.
- This unit also cares for kidney, heart and liver transplant patients.
Responsibilities
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Expectations We're Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.
