About the role
- You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently posting payments, adjustments, and denials to patient accounts.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and resolve ERA gaps (electronic remittance files not matching expected receipts or claims) by investigating missing remittances, contacting payers, or manually posting payments as needed to maintain clean accounts receivable.
Requirements
- Proven experience navigating and extracting remittance data from major payer portals.
- Demonstrated experience with credit balance resolution and refund processing.
- You are a clear and concise communicator
- you enjoy the challenge of explaining complicated ideas in simple terms, both in-person and in writing.
Compensation
- The estimated starting annual salary range for this position is $20-$24 USD per hour.
- The listed range is a guideline from Pave data, and the actual base salary may be modified based on factors including job-related skills, experience/qualifications, interview performance, market data, etc.
