About the role
- The Coordinator, Music Technology coordinates the day-to-day music technology resources, equipment, and operations within the Bower School of Music.
- The position participates in the development and implementation of music technology programs and is responsible for the recording, livestreaming, and archiving of performances, concerts, and other School of Music events.

Requirements
- Professional full-time experience in studio production or digital audio techniques.
- Experience operating personal computers with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) software.
- Provides music technology resources for performances and auditions as required.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Music Technology, or closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience with current trends and technologies, including music software and recording programs.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of recording and post-production techniques, electronic music synthesis, musical acoustics, digital and analog electronics, and electronics and recording technology.

- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working effectively across teams
- Knowledge of trends on applications of music technology in higher education.

- Knowledge of music technology applications considered as best practice for applied music instruction and for classroom environments.
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects within deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to think critically and make clear, well-reasoned and timely decisions.
