About the role

  • This role is responsible for assisting with a variety of general labor tasks including material handling, site preparation, assisting carpenters, and supporting forming, pouring, and cleanup activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor duties such as shoveling, raking, lifting, carrying materials, and jobsite cleanup
  • Support the installation and removal of concrete forms and falsework
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in heavy civil construction, be comfortable working outdoors in physically demanding conditions, and be committed to maintaining a safe and productive jobsite.

Nice to have

  • Experience in construction, heavy civil, bridge work, general labor or related industry preferred
