About the role

As a Shift Supervisor at our Thermomechanical Treatment Facility (TTF), you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the plant during your assigned shift.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the monitoring and performance of boilers, turbines, and steam plant equipment, while actively supervising plant personnel.

Supervises, monitors, trains, and develops performance of plant personnel to ensure safe, efficient and productive operation of plant and equipment.
Enforce the safety procedures and policies for the Operations Department and other support teams.
Collaborate with representatives from various departments to address and resolve operational, administrative, organizational, and technical challenges.

A background in power plant operations is required, including a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience and/or supervisory oversight of power plant machinery.
Comprehensive knowledge of steam-generating power stations, including operation of instrument and control systems.
Well-developed troubleshooting skills for equipment and systems, along with expertise in training personnel and interpreting diagrams.

A bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is preferred.
Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEM) equipment is preferred.

$99,000.00 - $141,500.00 USD per annum

The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).
