About the role
- The Business Development Director is responsible for driving new business in a variety of industries including custom products (custom molded shapes), stock products (tubes, etc), and distribution products (prepregs, fabrics, resins).
- The focus of this position is custom composite products for DoD and Space clients.
- Identify and engage key clients in a variety of industries as relevant; Aerospace, Defense, Sports, Maritime, Energy, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and organize new business development initiatives, improve market share, implement pricing strategies, control expenses, and deliver technical services.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients, prospects, suppliers, and internal teams to advance strategic sales growth plans.
- Manage the marketing and trade show strategy for the business segment.
- Lead and develop the segment-aligned business development team, including Business Development Managers, Estimators, and other contributors as applicable.
- Maintain new business orders and sales forecasts, while tracking individual and team performance against forecasted goals.

Compensation
- The pay range for this position falls within $150,000-$200,000 annually.
- The final compensation will be determined based on experience, skillset, and other factors permitted by law.
