About the role

  • Additionally, you will assist the Innovation & Entrepreneurship team through the review of option and license agreements and the monitoring of existing agreements for contractual compliance.

Responsibilities

  • As the Contracts Coordinator, you will serve as the subject matter expert on research contracting arrangements while providing specialized support to both the Support & Operations Contract Team and the Innovation & Entrepreneurship team within the Office of Research.
  • You will assist the Support & Operations Contract Team through the preparation, review, and negotiation of complex funding agreements (e.g. industry-sponsored projects, FAR contracts, and international contracts) and non-monetary research contracts.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area.
  • Ability to interpret, explain, and apply complicated rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Experience establishing priorities.
  • Experience managing multiple projects.

Compensation

  • In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
