About the role
- The People Operations helps run and continuously improve the People engine at Freed.
- This is a high-execution, high-ownership role responsible for onboarding, offboarding, recruiting coordination, office management, People systems, and the day-to-day employee experience.
- We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and operates with urgency and ownership.
Responsibilities
- Own onboarding and pre-boarding end-to-end by ensuring all logistics, systems, and manager plans are in place, tracking Day 1, Week 1, and 30/90-day milestones, and flagging risks early.
- Drive offboarding execution by managing separation workflows, documentation, and cross-functional coordination with IT, Finance, and managers.
- Support People analytics and reporting by maintaining dashboards (headcount, attrition, onboarding progress), tracking operational metrics, and contributing to monthly People recaps.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced, people-facing role, preferably within a high-growth or startup environment.
- Familiarity with tools like Ashby, Notion, Gusto, or similar
