Responsibilities
- Define enterprise integration strategies, standards, and best practices that support long-term organizational objectives.
- Develop architecture documentation, integration specifications, technical designs, and other project deliverables.
- Provide architectural guidance throughout the full project lifecycle, from planning through implementation and operational support.
- Support enterprise integration services that can be leveraged across multiple business units and solutions.
- Facilitate technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and technical requirements gathering workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Systems Analyst, Senior Business Systems Analyst, Integration Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect.
- Minimum 2 years of experience implementing or supporting Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) solutions.
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise or public sector environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing healthcare interoperability solutions using:
- HL7 Version 2
- HL7 Version 3
- Availability to work on-site in Fredericton, New Brunswick, as required.
- 5+ years leading technical design workshops, architecture reviews, and technical requirements gathering sessions.
- 5+ years developing enterprise integration architecture deliverables and technical solution documentation.
- 5+ years evaluating and recommending solution approaches, including custom-built, COTS, and hybrid solutions.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience managing or leading technical teams, architects, developers, or systems analysts.
- 5+ years delivering enterprise integration services and reusable integration frameworks across multiple business domains.
- 5+ years implementing enterprise integration solutions supporting long-term operational and maintenance lifecycles.
- 5+ years serving as an architect on large-scale digital transformation initiatives while mentoring technical teams.
- HL7 V3 (MR2009 and CeRx)
- Experience working with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions is considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
