About the role
- This role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing BAS and HVAC control systems across a variety of commercial environments.
- This is a travel-based position requiring a strong technical background in system diagnostics, controls programming, and integration.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair building automation and HVAC control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure systems are operating efficiently
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure smooth handoff from project completion to service
- Maintain clear service documentation, system backups, and maintenance records
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support emergency service needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in BAS, HVAC controls, or a related technical field
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control diagrams
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple service priorities
