About the role

- As a Senior Healthcare Planner at DGA, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping innovative, patient-centered environments that improve care delivery and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, architects, and consultants to establish project schedules and ensure planning continuity.
Responsibilities
- Support proposal development and contract negotiations by defining planning scope, work effort, and milestone schedules.
- Facilitate and lead key project meetings and presentations, acting as the primary planning liaison to client leadership and user groups.
- Collaborate with design leads to develop integrated planning solutions that align clinical functionality with architectural expression.
- Oversee the development and documentation of planning concepts throughout the design process, from visioning through construction.

Requirements
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office; experience with SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and dRofus is a plus, particularly in communicating planning concepts effectively

- A proven track record of 10+ years leading healthcare planning and design efforts across complex medical environments, including acute care, outpatient, and specialty facilities.
- A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; familiarity with OSHPD/HCAI compliance and California healthcare regulations is a strong plus.
- Deep expertise in healthcare design strategy, master planning, and clinical programming, with a strong understanding of operational workflows and regulatory drivers.
