About the role
- Eden is a young child presenting with a combination of complex diagnoses, including:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide constant supervision and safety monitoring
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 direct support in home and community settings
- Assist with mobility and positioning (lifting, transfers, physical support)
- Support feeding and nutrition (liquid diet via straw
- Implement care plans and therapy strategies under supervision
- Support fine and gross motor activities
- Use or support alternative communication methods (non-verbal client)
- Maintain accurate session notes and documentation
- Collaborate with caregivers and clinical team
Requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities
- Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle ( required )
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Experience with non-verbal clients
- Experience with hypotonia or physical disabilities
- Familiarity with ABA or therapy-based environments
