About the role
- Genetec is growing rapidly, and we are looking to hire another legal counsel to join our expanding Legal Department.
- As a member of the Legal Department, you will participate in a variety of innovative projects in a highly dynamic environment.
- This role will primarily focus on Canadian immigration law and global mobility, while also supporting employment-related legal matters.
Responsibilities
- This role will allow you to shape your professional growth, while being able to rely on the mentorship and support of a solid, friendly, and energetic team.
- You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel across multiple jurisdictions to support Genetec's global workforce.
Nice to have
- The ideal candidate will be a member in good standing with the Quebec Bar.
- You must be able to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team, often under strict deadlines, and handle multiple priorities High proficiency in spoken and written English and in French is expected.
Skills
- Expérience dans le développement ou la gestion d'outils de conformité internes, de systèmes de suivi ou de bases de connaissances.
- Expérience de formations ou de présentations destinées à des parties prenantes non juridiques.
- Connaissance et compréhension du secteur des logiciels et des technologies cloud, y compris les pratiques, les cadres juridiques, etc.
