About the role

The home repair programs manager oversees all aspects of South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity's home repair program and works onsite in a limited construction capacity when program demands are high.
The program currently includes critical home repairs, energy efficiency upgrades (such as heat pump installations), and aging in place upgrades.
You tackle big goals with your organizational and people-leading know-how.

Responsibilities

Deliver clear, timely, and dignified communications to program participants throughout the duration of their repair project to ensure compassion and respect.
Develop and maintain program policies and procedures; ensure appropriate safety standards for all field work.
Explore programmatic expansion and innovation, including service offerings, revenue, vendors, contractors and partnerships; design, pilot, evaluate, and implement all service expansions.
Employees may occasionally perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities to meet the needs of the organization.

Requirements

This position will be regularly required to use a phone, computer, keyboard and screen, communicate with others, reach with arms and hands, and sit for extended periods.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
This position also requires the ability to speak and hear in order to effectively communicate with program participants in their homes.

Nice to have

40 hours per week.
Typical business hours with some flexibility for preferred schedules.

Compensation

Non-exempt, hourly position.
Position range: $26.44-$33.65 per hour (equivalent of $55,000-$70,000 annually); expected hire range: $26.44-$30.29 per hour (equivalent of $55,000-$63,000 annually).
FLSA Status: This position is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA); it earns overtime for additional time worked.
Identify and document strategic and annual goals in alignment with housing data trends, funding availability, and internal capacity.
Establish annual program evaluation, assessment, and improvement processes, including program participation satisfaction surveys; maintain documentation and reporting.

POSITION SUMMARY The home repair programs manager oversees all aspects of South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity's home repair program and works onsite in a limited construction capacity when program demands are high.
The home repair programs manager is responsible for setting and attaining the program's annual goals, supervising home repair staff and contractors, and managing relationships with homeowners, community partners, and grantors.
The manager is also responsible for training staff and volunteers in safety practices, meeting all grant requirements from multiple entities, and continuously exploring opportunities to grow and innovate the program.
