About the role
- You'll be in charge of finding and recruiting the best E&S brokers and underwriters across the country.
- You'll need to deeply understand the E&S wholesale market, know what makes a great producer tick, and be able to sell top talent on the promise of technology.
Responsibilities
- We're seeking an Insurance Recruiter to help us build the best wholesale teams in the country.
- You'll own the full recruiting lifecycle - from sourcing and outreach to closing and onboarding - while building the systems and processes that will scale our recruiting function.
- They have a network and the drive to find and attract the best talent in insurance.
- The Day to Day Own the full-cycle recruiting process for wholesale producer roles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, closing, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality wholesale producer candidates through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies.
- Develop relationships within the E&S insurance community to build Novella's employer brand and reputation.
- Build a pipeline of underwriting talent to support our programs group.
Requirements
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, with meaningful time spent hiring in insurance, financial services, or a related industry.
- Proven ability to source and close candidates in competitive markets.
- You can earn trust with senior candidates and keep them engaged throughout long hiring processes.
- The ideal candidate has recruited in insurance before.
