About the role
- This position is ideal for a claims professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, navigating complex claims issues, and working in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a desk and caseload of workers' compensation claims in an efficient and professional manner
- Evaluate claim exposure and maintain accurate and timely reserves
- Manage litigation activity and coordinate with defense counsel as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and organized claim documentation within the claims system
- Support timely and compliant claim resolution strategies
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Requirements
- Workers' compensation claims handling experience required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree beneficial
- Adjuster licensing beneficial or ability to obtain licensing as required
- Participate in required training and maintain knowledge of assigned state workers' compensation statutes
- Final candidates will be required to complete post-offer verification processes related to the role and in accordance with applicable laws.
