About the role
- We are looking for a security-focused Software Engineer to work on Teleport's Security Team.
- Detect malicious activity in Teleport systems
- Investigate security incidents and respond effectively
Responsibilities
- Build a new case management system to coordinate incident investigation activities
- Build an AI agent harness (using Teleport Beams!) to enable autonomous threat hunting
- Create lab environments to enable AI agents and humans to red team our systems
- This gives you the freedom, power, and autonomy to build and innovate with confidence.
Nice to have
- Experience working with Kubernetes
- Experience in Security
- Experience with SIEM and SOAR systems

- For this role, we use a take-home challenge that mirrors real work at Teleport - on your time, your way.
- You will join a 30 minute call with the hiring manager, and we will walk you through the take home exercise and help answer questions
