About the role
- We are seeking a highly capable Technical Project Manager to lead our optical interconnect project in Credo Ottawa.
- This role involves aligning priorities across teams, managing timelines and deliverables, cultivating internal and external partnerships, and assessing risk profiles at both the component and system levels to drive a clear and actionable execution plan.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with internal and external teams (including optics high-speed electronics, firmware, packaging, and system validation) on understanding the technical specifications and deliverables and developing execution GANT chart.
- Drive structured program execution (milestones, risk management, action items tracking, dependency mapping) and communicate program status, risks, escalations, resource needs, and decision points to leadership in a clear, data-driven way
- Lead weekly project standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, status reviews, structured documentation for project requirements, version control, change control, and progress tracking.
- You will coordinate multi-disciplinary R&D teams and develop detailed Gantt charts to guide the project from initial technical path development through down-selection to high-volume production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, leading optical component/system projects from R&D to high-volume production.
- Proven track record of driving execution across multi-disciplinary engineering teams, minimizing program risks, and delivering products on time and within budget.
Nice to have
- BS/MS in technical field.
- Experience leading NPI development of optical/LED/Laser products.
