About the role
- The MSEIT effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Space Force's Space Systems Command (SSC).
- We acquire state of the art Military and Commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation's warfighters.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level critical thinking and problem solving skills to the government customer and drive technical challenges to their most logical resolution
- Learn and apply established government SEIT processes and procedures in support of MILSATCOM and NC3 O&S activities
- Develop, analyze and maintain systems engineering documentation and capability requirements to ensure alignment with mission objectives and continuous readiness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science or equivalent technical discipline from an accredited university
- 5+ years of experience in SE&I associated with system acquisitions and/or O&S
- Knowledge of Agile software development processes and applications (i.e., Jira/Confluence)
- AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
- 6+ years of experience in a DoW program office with an understanding of DoD acquisition processes
- 6+ years of experience working with strategic & tactical MILSATCOM space systems
- Experience working in a CMMI environment
- Direct experience with Change Management and Configuration Management (CM) processes

- Expertise with requirements development and analysis and the development of systems engineering-related documents
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective interpersonal and team-player skills
- Clear and concise written, verbal communications and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Possess Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
Compensation
- $110,000 - $138,000 USD
