About the role

Responsibilities
- The Associate Manufacturing Engineer will support manufacturing activities at Intergalactic to help achieve strategic, contractual, and tactical milestones from the start of a new production program through final delivery of contracted intellectual and physical products to the customer.
- This role will assist in driving operations through clear and accurate documentation to support the successful completion of high-quality hardware.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong ability to work independently and as a team.
- Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S.
Nice to have
- Assist day-to-day production floor operations and help resolve manufacturing issues.
- Assist with process development, production controls, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or a related engineering field required.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Aerospace, internship, co-op, or other experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, production operations, and continuous improvement methods.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications
- GD&T and CAD experience preferred.
