About the role

  • The Vendor Operations Liaison serves as the primary point of contact for third-party Marine Operating Centers (MOCs) supporting outsourced service operations.
  • This role is responsible for managing vendor relationships across an assigned region, ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, and financial accuracy.
  • The individual will oversee vendor performance, review invoicing and billing, coordinate fleet service needs, and proactively resolve operational issues to ensure club locations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Support vendor relationship management by maintaining strong, professional working relationships that drive service performance and responsiveness
  • Review, validate, challenge discrepancies, and approve vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and alignment with contracted services
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align vendor services with business and customer needs
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance vendor operations, reduce costs, and improve service delivery

Requirements

  • Experience reviewing invoices, billing, or financial documentation with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with ability to independently resolve routine issues
  • Ability to analyze vendor performance and communicate findings to leadership
  • Familiarity with marine safety equipment and dockside procedures
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to seasonal demands

Nice to have

  • Experience working with dealerships, marinas, or marine service environments
  • Familiarity with fleet operations or boat maintenance coordination
  • Experience in contract management or vendor performance evaluation
  • Background in logistics, transportation coordination, or field operations
  • Mechanical or marine systems knowledge (technical coursework or equivalent experience preferred)

Compensation

  • decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
  • In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
  • The hiring range for this position is $60,250 to $66,500 annually.
