About the role

  • Job Description: Zone Maintenance Engineer Rubicon is seeking a Zone Maintenance Engineer supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in Geismar.
  • This position will report to the Maintenance Superintendent.
  • Job Scope The Zone Maintenance Engineer (ZME) is responsible for maintaining plant assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance engineering

  • Experience working with rotating and fixed equipment in a chemical plant environment
  • Occasionally required to bend, stoop, climb, reach above shoulder level, and kneel while reviewing field work
  • Frequently required to climb stairs
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 10 lbs. from floor to waist
