Responsibilities
- Faculty of Arts, Media and Design
- Develop and implement a forward-looking technology roadmap aligned with academic priorities and industry standards;
- Leads the procurement, development and management of technical resources;
- This role ensures that students, faculty, and staff across program areas such as animation, game development, graphic design, television, film, user experience (UX) design, and interior design have access to reliable, cutting-edge tools, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Four (4) Year diploma/degree in a Creative Industries related program.
- Minimum seven (7) years experience in:
- Experience managing technology in a creative, academic or production environment
- Demonstrated experience supervising technical staff, or production teams
- Strong knowledge of industry standard tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, game engines, 3D modelling software, video production systems)
- Knowledge of creative technologies such as XR/VR, AI driven creative tools, motion capture, virtual production
- Experience negotiating contracts with vendors
- Ability to interpret/apply business policies procedures and systems.
Compensation
- $88,985.00-$111,230.00-Annual
