About the role
- This role ensures maintenance work is properly planned, resourced, scheduled, and execution-ready to improve reliability, workforce utilization, and operational performance.
- This position will be based at Los Vientos III, IV, V Wind Site located in Rio Grande City, TX.
- Ensure all work is fully planned and execution-ready before scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed work packages including scope, labor estimates, procedures, parts, tooling, equipment, vendor support, and safety requirements.
- Maintain a rolling 6-12 week maintenance schedule across multiple sites and work groups.
- Coordinate activities among Operations, Maintenance, High Voltage teams, Engineering, contractors, vendors, and support organizations.
- Create and maintain work orders, job plans, preventive maintenance programs, standard work packages, labor estimates, and material requirements.
- Support backlog management, work prioritization, schedule compliance, and continuous improvement of work management processes.
- Support risk-based maintenance prioritization and equipment reliability initiatives.
Requirements
- Associate's degree with one (1) or more years of related work experience
- In lieu of an Associate degree, High School Diploma/GED with three or more years of relevant experience in maintenance, operations, planning, scheduling, work management, or a related technical field
- Bachelor's degree with five or more years of related work experience
- Working knowledge of maintenance work management processes
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management system
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams and organizational levels
- Experience supporting renewable energy operations, including Wind, Solar, and/or High Voltage assets
- Advanced working knowledge of Maximo
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling best practices
Skills
- Serve as the area subject matter expert for Maximo and mobile work management tools.
