Responsibilities
- KTBC FOX 7 Austin is seeking a dynamic Chief Photographer to lead, inspire, and manage our team of visual storytellers.
- As a leader in the newsroom, you will manage gear inventory and daily field assignments, ensuring the highest technical and creative standards.
- Austin experiences year-round high-impact weather events, and as Chief, you will lead field logistics and safety protocols during these events.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in small to medium-sized news markets is required.
- The ideal candidate must be highly organized, possess a strong eye for photography and visual storytelling in the news business, and demonstrate a genuine passion for television news.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs to safely handle standard television news equipment, tripods, and gear.

- Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $31.00-32.27 per hour.
