About the role
- Work primarily occurs outdoors in all weather conditions including, sun, rain, cold, and heat.
- Work includes long periods bent over or crouched working in a garden setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, plan and prepare Seldovia Village Tribe facility gardens throughout approved season of work.
- Weeding regularly to maintain a weed-free garden space
- Maintain garden spaces during the summer season as possible within availability
- Ability to implement guidance or directions from supervisor
Requirements
- Must be able to meet or exceed physical requirements of position
- Knowledge of gardening methods especially plant identification and care, required
Nice to have
- Some gardening experience preferred
