Responsibilities
- Own all project documentation in Procore: permits, RFQs, POs, shop drawings, trade reports, RFIs, and approvals
- Monitor and manage project budgets with accurate cost reporting and full accountability
- Manage billings, receivables, and trade invoices with a strong grip on cost control
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams - run kick-off meetings and keep collaboration tight
- Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols to maintain a compliant, safe work environment
- Mentor coordination teams, support KPI development, and contribute to organizational efficiency
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, timely updates, and decisive issue resolution
- Identify risks early and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Maintain complete, current project records in Procore throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Leads diverse teams with professionalism and earns respect on the job site and in the boardroom
Requirements
- Possess 5-7 years of supervisory experience in project control, including scheduling, budgeting and Invoicing in commercial construction, including restaurant, hospitality, and retail sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.
- Experience in construction management with proficiency in Procore and MS Project, and ability to lead diverse teams
- Post-secondary education in Project Management, Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
- Additional certifications such as PMP or BCIN is an asset.
- Solid understanding of construction financials and cost management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and teams.
- Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
