About the role
- The Production Operator I is responsible for operating production equipment and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
- This role involves hands-on work in a production environment, including material handling, equipment operation, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Responsibilities
- Support material handling activities, including transferring, loading, and unloading materials
- Monitor processes and perform basic measurements to ensure product quality and consistency
- Perform routine tasks related to processing, forming, or finishing materials
- Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
- Perform physical tasks including bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and manual material handling
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks throughout a shift)
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to comply with all safety requirements, including use of PPE (hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, respirator as needed)
- Collect and provide product samples for quality testing as required

- Experience working in environments with established safety and quality standards
