About the role
- Day‑to‑day, you will oversee the full accounting life cycle, including general ledger, job cost accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.
- Experienced controllers in this role may take on expanded responsibility for advancing financial strategy and operational excellence.
- This includes leading system implementations or upgrades, improving reporting and dashboards, strengthening internal controls, and optimizing processes across accounting and project financial management.
Responsibilities
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and partner effectively with operations and executive leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Experience with construction ERP systems and project‑based accounting platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Compensation
- You will manage the monthly and annual close processes, prepare and review GAAP‑compliant financial statements, and maintain the work‑in‑progress (WIP) schedule and revenue recognition.
