About the role

  • The manufacturing engineering technician's primary responsibility is to execute and facilitate accomplishment of project tasks in accordance with the project schedule
  • Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate systematic problem solving and implementing solutions to solve the root-cause of problems related to non-conforming material and corrective action processes.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously drives culture change and acceptance of Lean Manufacturing principles across the organization.
  • Support manufacturing with the implementation of efficient and reliable Lean Manufacturing processes.
  • Supports and Leads Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S workshop activities and events.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing routings
  • Install, test, and commission capital equipment ensuring that product design requirements are met per manufacturer and AAON procedures.

Requirements

  • 5 years in industrial operations setting or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Nice to have

  • License(s): Refrigerant Handling License a plus
  • Lean 6 Sigma training a plus
  • Additional supervisory or leadership training a plus
