About the role
- The manufacturing engineering technician's primary responsibility is to execute and facilitate accomplishment of project tasks in accordance with the project schedule
- Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate systematic problem solving and implementing solutions to solve the root-cause of problems related to non-conforming material and corrective action processes.
Responsibilities
- Continuously drives culture change and acceptance of Lean Manufacturing principles across the organization.
- Support manufacturing with the implementation of efficient and reliable Lean Manufacturing processes.
- Supports and Leads Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S workshop activities and events.
- Create and maintain manufacturing routings
- Install, test, and commission capital equipment ensuring that product design requirements are met per manufacturer and AAON procedures.
Requirements
- 5 years in industrial operations setting or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Nice to have
- License(s): Refrigerant Handling License a plus
- Lean 6 Sigma training a plus
- Additional supervisory or leadership training a plus
Skills
- Strong spoken, written, and listening communications skills
- Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
