About the role

  • The Unit Coordinator-GB provides charge nurse responsibilities, including assignments, management of throughput, staffing to matrix, and responding to patient and staff needs, while also managing a patient care assignment as indicated by patient care needs.
  • Provides charge nurse responsibilities, including assignments, management of throughput, staffing to matrix, and responding to patient and staff needs.
  • Assists with hiring, education and performance evaluation of the staff.

  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.

  • High School Graduate
  • Associate Degree Nursing
  • Bachelor Degree Nursing
  • Master Degree Nursing
  • 2 or more years Clinical Experience
  • Other BLS
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN)
  • Single State
  • State Board of Nursing
  • Professional Nursing Certification
  • Skills and duties may vary dependent upon your department or unit.
