Responsibilities
- Support the accurate lease setup within accounting systems, maintaining strong alignment between legal documentation and system configuration.
- Oversee resolution of complex tenant inquiries and disputes, providing balanced, well-supported positions that protect revenue and maintain relationships.
- Maintain data integrity, audit readiness, and compliance with internal standards.
- Own the financial integrity and performance of recovery models, including CAM, property taxes, utilities, and other recoverable costs.
- Lead detailed review and approval of recovery calculations, accruals, and reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with lease terms.

- Partner with asset management and site teams on forecasting and rate-setting decisions.
- Support due diligence and financial analysis for acquisitions and dispositions, ensuring accurate understanding of lease terms and recovery structures.
- Maintain strong internal controls and mitigate financial risk.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in lease interpretation, recovery accounting, or financial analysis within commercial real estate.
- University degree in Business, Commerce, or Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of real estate accounting (IFRS).
- experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Yardi).
- While AI assists us in our process, human judgment and decision-making remain central to our candidate experience.
- Engage external consultants (e.g., property tax advisors) as required.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex, multi-asset portfolios.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
- Results-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

- The expected salary range for this position is $103,000 to $153,000 per year.
- You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans - details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
