About the role

  • We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Analyst for the Data Analytics team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Oura's security guild comprising of Legal, IT, Security, and Enterprise Data Architecture to define and manage a data governance framework for the full data lifecycle from acquisition to deletion

Skills

  • A pragmatic and goal oriented approach to development
  • Hands on experience working with governed data including PII, PHI, HIPAA, GDPR
  • Experience leading the Data Lifecycle from data definition, delivery to destruction
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives that enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and measurable business outcomes
  • Real-life experience with data analysis and governance with data mesh using Databricks, Google BigQuery or similar technologies
  • Familiarity and experience with the Governed Data Lakes, Data Warehouse, and federated Data Mesh approach
  • Experience leading teams directly or indirectly with responsibility for data analysis and governance
