About the role
- The incumbent in this position is responsible for maintaining a sanitary environment for food and beverage preparation and storage as well as provide clean service ware and utensils for the entire food and beverage operation.
- (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)
- Directs the maintenance of cleanliness of the back of the house areas, which include: main kitchen, storage areas, dumpster, loading dock, TDR, and washing areas.
Responsibilities
- Hires, trains, motivates, evaluates, and manages food and beverage staff in order to ensure that team members receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established department objectives.
- Perform work regularly and predictably.
Nice to have
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must successfully pass drug screening.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
- Dish machine operation and assembly.
- Prior janitorial cleaning experience.
- Familiar with handling of cleaning chemicals and compounds and preferred deep cleaning methods.
- Kitchen work and equipment usage
Skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills, budgeting experience and full understanding of financials.
