Responsibilities

  • Analyze CMS acquisition forecasts, past procurements, and competitive landscapes to support opportunity qualification.
  • Capture Support for CMS Opportunities
  • Support capture managers in developing CMS‑specific win themes, value propositions, and solution differentiators aligned with agency mission and program needs.
  • Participate in customer outreach planning, including meeting preparation, call plans, and follow‑up actions with CMS stakeholders and potential teaming partners.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, technical teams, and proposal managers to shape solutions that address CMS program challenges such as interoperability, program integrity, beneficiary experience, and data modernization.
  • Support color team reviews, compliance checks, and proposal production activities.
  • Build relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and potential partners to support CMS‑focused teaming strategies.
  • Maintain capture and proposal documentation, including CMS‑specific past performance, resumes, and solution artifacts.
  • Use CRM and pipeline tools, including Higher.gov and GovWin, to track CMS opportunities and support leadership decision‑making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Requirements

  • If not previously completed, a background security investigation will be required for all appointees.

  • Strong understanding of CMS mission areas, programs, and procurement environment
  • Experience with market research tools (SAM.gov, FPDS, GovWin)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Compensation

  • Employees can enroll in a 401(k) plan, and Nimbus contributes 3% of the employee's salary to the plan
