About the role

  • The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) division is seeking a Financial Analyst II - FP&A to join the Agency and Specialty Finance team.
  • This position will prepare and analyze financial performance data to monitor variances, identify trends and provide improvement recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • PREPARES key reports and ASSISTS in generating new analysis and reporting to support critical business decisions
  • MAINTAINS and UPDATES standard reporting & analysis to support operational decisions
  • IDENTIFIES opportunities for automation in reporting, forecasting, and analysis that drive continuous improvement and process efficiency
  • COLLABORATES across FP&A teams and with business leaders to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities to drive growth and profitability

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • 1-3 years experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, or similar field
  • Experience in insurance industry is desirable
  • Moderate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Beneficial but not required: knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Oracle EPM
  • Must meet minimum standards for grade 65 to be eligible for promotion to this grade

Compensation

  • $77,900.00 - $129,150.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline.
  • Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
