- The Mechanical Project Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of mechanical and industrial projects under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
- Assist in gathering project requirements and preparing project initiation documents, project charters, and detailed scopes of work.
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project (MS Project).
- Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and detailed construction cost estimates; review contractor quotations; perform bid analysis; and provide recommendations to support project budgeting and procurement decisions.
- Support project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, change management, and project controls.
- Coordinate project meetings, maintain project documentation, and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Skills
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, industrial equipment, piping, conveyors, material handling systems, and maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of project management principles, construction practices, and contractor coordination.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within industrial or construction environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel, including occasional travel to the United States.
