About the role
- TCC Materials is a leading manufacturer of architectural and concrete specialty products, which include concrete masonry block, concrete repair products, precast, architectural stone, mortars and grout, and hardscape landscaping products.

- This individual will monitor, analyze, and report on inventory valuation, production run rates, manufacturing variances, material prices, and freight costs.
Responsibilities
- This position develops and maintains standard costs, processes monthly cost allocations, and verifies monthly closing activities.
- Create, maintain, and audit inventory master data, including item records, Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing routings, and related product structures, ensuring the accuracy of item attributes, units of measure, costing methods, pricing, purchasing information, and inventory classifications.
- Perform periodic audits of inventory master data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures related to inventory item setup, inventory control processes, product costing, and sales tax administration.
- Assist with onboarding new EDI trading partners, document mapping validation, testing, and implementation activities.
- Perform all tasks with great attention to detail, proper formatting, and correct grammar.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by TCC Materials Management.

Requirements
- Must have effective communication ability and solid interpersonal/networking skills.
- Must be self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work successfully without close supervision.
- Must be able to multi-task in an accurate and timely manner with superior time management skills.
- Knowledge/experience in the commercial and residential construction materials industry.
Nice to have
- College degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Compensation
- $65,000-$85,000 annually
- Prepare, file, and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations.
