About the role
- SUMMARY The Worship Pastor provides spiritual, pastoral, and strategic leadership for the Worship Ministry at Pinelake's Madison campus.
- GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Learn Pursue a growing relationship with Jesus through consistent time in God's Word and prayer.
- Continually grow in your understanding of the Jesus-Centered Life (salvation, identity, life, and authority in Christ).
Responsibilities
- This leader is responsible for cultivating a healthy worship culture by making disciples, developing staff and servant leaders, and equipping teams to lead others toward Jesus through Christ-centered worship.
- Lead Take ownership of disciple-making by personally investing in others and helping them move toward a Jesus-Centered Life.
- Equip and release others by developing Servant Leaders and multiplying disciples who Learn from Christ, Live in Christ, and Lead others to Christ.

- SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide leadership and oversight for all worship and production ministries and environments at the Madison Campus.
- Recruit, equip, schedule, and develop staff and servant leaders.
- Embody a Jesus-Centered Life and build a culture of discipleship in the Worship Ministry.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the Worship Associate, Next Gen Worship Associate, and Production Director.
- Partner with the Lead Pastor of Worship and the Pinelake Worship One Church Team to implement worship strategy, programming, and resources.
- Contribute to the planning of weekend worship services and special events as led by One Church Team.
- Build healthy ministry systems for planning, communication, scheduling, execution, and evaluation.
- Establish ministry goals, evaluate effectiveness, and lead continuous improvement.
- Steward ministry budgets, gear and resources with wisdom and accountability.
- Work collaboratively with campus and One Church ministry leaders to support the overall mission of the church.
- Complete administrative responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead/supervise the Worship Associate, Next Gen Worship Pastor and Production Director.
- Supervises and coordinates work with servant leaders.
- QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor's degree as a minimum.
- A four to six years of applicable experience leading worship as well as parallel leadership of staff as well as servant leaders.
- Must also exhibit proficiency in leading worship from a primary instrument.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS The individual must have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with a diverse group of people, communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, e-mail and in person, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain strong working relationships with volunteers, co-workers, the public and church members and regular attendees.
- The individual must have the ability to understand written or oral instructions; read, analyze and interpret complex documents, instructions manuals, policies and procedures is essential.
- COMPUTER AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS The individual must have demonstrated skill in the use of Windows/MacOS to complete tasks, including word processing and spreadsheets and the ability to use the internet for information retrieval.
- The individual must have basic mathematical skills, knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting, and budget and expense monitoring.
- The individual must have the ability to read financial information and spreadsheets.
- REASONING ABILITY The individual must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries; simultaneous conceptualization and planning of multiple tasks, ability to project outcomes using different implementation strategies and ability to apply creative and innovative thinking to problem situations; and solve practical problems.
- The ability to work effectively and efficiently under stressful conditions to ensure deadlines are met is essential.
