About the role
- Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets.
- Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset.
- You'll work across teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that help leadership make high-impact decisions for the first regulated event-trading exchange.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for budgets, forecasts, and scenario planning
- Partner with product, growth, and operations teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions
- Investor & Fundraising Support
- Manage cash forecasting and runway analysis to ensure alignment with company growth goals
- Build models to assess new market opportunities or business lines
- Support finance leadership in building scalable processes for reporting and planning
- Comfort owning and building financial models end-to-end, from assumptions to insights
- Clear, structured communicator who can collaborate across technical, operational, and leadership teams

Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into action
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced startup environment
Nice to have
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (SQL or BI tools a plus)
- Preferred experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity
Compensation
- $140,000 to $220,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
- Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and broad variance in experience levels within each title; if your compensation expectations exceed this range, we encourage you to reach out - we're always happy to discuss.
