About the role

  • Your BPET Endorsement Form will list the specific job codes for which your course or Military Career Skills Program qualifies you for a direct offer of employment.

  • As a Wire Assembler- Repair, you will play a crucial part in the assembly and fabrication of high-precision components, ensuring that each product meets our quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, join, mechanically fasten, or rework parts and assemblies to create subassemblies that meet quality standards, adhering to established processes and procedures.
  • Perform fabrication tasks, including reaming, drilling, riveting, sanding, filing, grinding, and shaping of sheet metal parts, as well as forming, countersinking, crimping, and bending.
  • Coordinate and manage the movement of materials within the assigned area to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 35 pounds.
  • Ability to recognize colors.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Execute pre-sequenced tasks, including rework, repairs, functional checks, and authorized modifications, while maintaining the required skill level.
  • Route, clamp, and secure electrical installation components as required.

Nice to have

  • High school graduate or GED preferred.
