About the role
- The Infrastructure Engineer is primarily responsible for serving as the strategic architect for the Life.Church technology infrastructure, driving innovation and comprehensive solutions across the hardware and software ecosystem.

Responsibilities
- Provide Infrastructure Management and Support
- Architect, deploy, and manage comprehensive infrastructure solutions that align with organizational goals and future growth.
- Support current infrastructure management software and identify opportunities for new solutions.
- Manage account maintenance for staff and ensure exceptional day-one experiences for new users.
- Perform regular infrastructure and server-side maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, and multiregion solutions.
- Architect and manage enterprise-scale storage solutions, including unified storage systems.
- Configure and maintain software-defined storage infrastructure with advanced features including snapshots, replication, and tiered storage management.
- Monitor storage performance metrics, capacity planning, and implement predictive analytics for proactive storage management.
- Implement and maintain security and data privacy standards across all software solutions.
Skills
- Clearly explain complicated and detailed processes in a concise and simple way.
- Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and problem-solve.
- Ability to organize work, establish priorities, meet established deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimum direction.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and a willingness to integrate emerging technologies into daily workflows.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of related work experience.
- Fundamentals (MS-900) or Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) Microsoft 365 certification or equivalent documented knowledge and experience.
- 1+ years of experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions.
