About the role

  • Along the way, you'll help elevate how we go to market, telling compelling stories that demonstrate the value of NRECA membership and the impact of electric cooperatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Marketing Initiatives
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that align to business goals and drive awareness, engagement, utilization and revenue growth across key products and programs.
  • Own Product and Value Storytelling
  • Drive Multi-Channel Campaigns
  • Concept and deliver end-to-end campaigns across digital, email, social, web and event channels-optimizing the right mix to reach and convert target audiences.
  • Leverage Data to Inform and Optimize
  • Act as a Strategic Partner
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders to define goals, assess opportunities, prioritize initiatives and deliver marketing solutions that drive impact.
  • Collaborate Across Teams
  • Partner with creative, communications, and marketing operations teams to ensure cohesive execution, strong brand alignment, and high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, ideally within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to connect marketing efforts to business impact and growth.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a talent for translating ideas into compelling, actionable messaging.
  • Experience in a trade association or mission-driven environment
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

Compensation

  • $101,000-$124,000 annual salary
  • Final compensation determined by individual qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
