About the role
- This role is a significant project team position with many growth opportunities.
- This role requires travel between three project sites in Sacramento, San Jose, and Los Angeles.
Responsibilities
- This position will work with a team of professionals, including the client's senior project manager, other construction professionals, and project stakeholders, to oversee and deliver this hyper-scale data center project.
- General responsibilities include: Oversee design development and project budget and cost.
- Manage extra work billings and claims under the supervision of the Project Manager.
- Manage the design change implementation and change management process.
- Manage the submittal and RFI process on behalf of the owner's team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- Preference for experience in mission-critical, industrial, and process-heavy facilities.
- Ability to prepare and communicate cost and revenue projections.
- Proactively participate in self-development to continually enhance current skills and build new skills required to excel at the current role and prepare for career progression.
- Demonstrate ability to be dependable, diligent, and thorough.

- Oversee design development and project budget and cost.
- Verify and approve vendor payables, track vendor quantities through timesheets, and physical accounting.
- Assist in reviewing monthly contractor billing estimates for the owner.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate contractor updates on behalf of the owner.
- Oversee both the cost report and the monthly billing.
- Ensure a safe project site and work environment.
