About the role
- Participate in software development activities including coding, debugging, testing, and integration.
- Troubleshoot software issues with guidance from senior team members.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and security solutions.
- Support the development and maintenance of Windows desktop applications and services.
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications, APIs, and cloud-connected services.
- Create and execute unit tests to verify software functionality and reliability.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based applications and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end software solutions.
- Support product release and maintenance activities.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 0-2 years of software development experience.
- Internship, academic project, or co-op experience in software development is a plus.
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices.
- Basic knowledge of unit testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and security practices.
- Exposure to secure coding practices and software security concepts.
- Basic understanding of authentication, authorization, and encryption fundamentals.

Compensation
- The base pay range for this role is $123,100 to $150,400 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).
