Responsibilities
- We customize our work approach to fit each project using a collaborative, friendly style to deliver solutions our clients can stand behind.
- Document work performed and sketches
- Perform various survey calculations
- Organize and maintain survey documentation
- Operate and maintain survey equipment
Requirements
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and five or more years working in construction.
- Construction staking experience is required and MDOT experience is preferred.
- Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
Nice to have
- Conduct various types of surveying including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivisions, construction stakeouts, etc.
- Oversee the daily operation of a survey crew
- Interpret maps, plats, construction drawings and specifications
- Adhere to company standards for processing and storing data
- Communicate project status to Project Managers and clients
- Research project information at the Registrar of Deeds
- Prepare forms and other paperwork in a timely manner
- Attend seminars and/or training classes
