About the role

- May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate site performance and lead performance improvements
- Manage PSM, RMP and Insurance audit programs for the Plaquemine facility.
- Develop and provide training for compliance and improvement in the areas associated with PSM.
Requirements
- Strong facilitation, interpersonal and computer skills, with a good working knowledge of related databases and applications, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk and climb
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Travel may be required occasionally.
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years site or division level experience in chemicals manufacturing; previous PSM experience preferred; Background should include industrial safety, process safety management, and safety auditing experience.
- Capable of managing multiple projects

- Able to work in a team-oriented environment
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree required
- degree in Engineering preferred.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years site or division level experience in chemicals manufacturing
- previous PSM experience preferred
- Background should include industrial safety, process safety management, and safety auditing experience.
