About the role

The QA Engineer is based in Los Angeles, reports to the VP of Engineering, and is a member of the Engineering team.
This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Connexity's products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality software.

Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases and test suites.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications and services.
Help build, maintain, and expand automated testing frameworks and regression suites.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
Support testing of APIs, backend services, and web applications.
Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to validate data across systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a collaborative environment.

3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Software Testing.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.

Experience testing cloud-based or SaaS applications.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and quality practices within modern software delivery processes.
Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools.
Familiarity with AdTech, eCommerce, or digital marketing platforms.
Exposure to scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Bash.
