About the role
- The QA Engineer is based in Los Angeles, reports to the VP of Engineering, and is a member of the Engineering team.
- This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Connexity's products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases and test suites.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications and services.
- Help build, maintain, and expand automated testing frameworks and regression suites.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
- Support testing of APIs, backend services, and web applications.
- Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to validate data across systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Software Testing.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
Nice to have
- Experience testing cloud-based or SaaS applications.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and quality practices within modern software delivery processes.
- Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools.
- Familiarity with AdTech, eCommerce, or digital marketing platforms.
- Exposure to scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Bash.
