About the role
- The Facility Nursing Supervisor is responsible for maintaining continuity of patient care in the absence of the unit nurse managers/directors in all areas of the hospital.
- Makes patient care assignments according to staff ability and patient needs.
- Evaluates care given by others under his/her direction.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates activities of hospital personnel to maintain the continuity of a safe and efficient standard of care.
- Maintains accountability for own care and care delegated to others. Adheres to ethical and legal standards.
- BSMH nurses are expected to practice and deliver care in accordance with the core concepts and intention of the BSMH Nursing Professional Practice Model
Requirements

- Required Licensing & Certifications:
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred)
- Current RN license in state they are working or covered by compact (required)
- BLS Basic Life Support (required)
- Nurse Executive Certification or designated specialty certification (preferred)
- 2 years nursing experience with 1 year minimum clinical experience (preferred)
- Charge nurse or management experience (preferred)

- $60k-$301k
